Queens lies just across the East River from Manhattan, is adjacent to Brooklyn, and is the gateway to Long Island and all that the counties of Nassau & Suffolk have to offer. Our offices are located in the Cooper Building at 47-16 44th Street, Woodside, Queens NY. The building also has an entrance in Sunnyside, as such it actually occupies two towns: Sunnyside and Woodside. Cooper Real Estate has been located in the Cooper Building for the past 25 years. Both these dynamic areas of Queens are located just 10 minutes from Manhattan either by cab, train (#7) or bus (M60 or Q32) via the New York City Mass Transit. At our corner is Greenpoint Avenue, a main thoroughfare connecting us directly with the borough of Brooklyn. Queens Boulevard, a mere block from our office, is a main commercial road that provides easy access to all parts of Queens. The area is a melting pot with a population as diverse as all of NYC, creating many unique shopping and dining opportunities from Asian to Latin to Vegetarian to all cuisines in between. Astoria, one community over from ours, is the fifth largest Greek Metropolis in the world. The Long Island Railroad is a short cab or train ride away opening up all of Long Island’s beaches and further out to the eastern tip of Long Island, Montauk Point. Queens is the gateway to all of the world as both NYC’s major airports, Kennedy Airport and LaGuardia Airport, are located in the borough.
